Throughout the process of print-based paper casting with chrysanthemum prints and antique frames, I attempt to create remembrances not only with my grief and regrets but also with love and longing for my family. The paper cast method that I apply is one of Korea's traditional paper craft techniques Jiho-gibeop and it is similar to papier-mâché process in western paper craft tradition.
